Media Execution Coordinator


Coordinate efforts across various media channels between the close of a plan through the launch of a plan. To do this, you must have great skills in effective project leadership and a basic understanding of all media channels and assets, budgets / CPMs, project initiation, tagging / pixels, UTMs and tracking, and trafficking. In addition, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with an understanding of the principles of project management is vital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage media campaign calendar for various clients and multiple channel efforts
  • Be the liaison between Project PMs and Media team or media reps as a project is in its beginning stages
  • Set up media team kickoffs and track to-dos and timelines based on conversations discussed
  • Coordinate creative assets needed to support a given media plan
    • Manage the master spec sheet and confirm all items are up to date for use
  • Develop clear execution documents to support all media plans
    • Coordinate with strategists to determine testing plans and ensure tracking is setup to support efforts (UTMs, pixels and tagging)
  • QA plans to ensure they have launched as expected
  • Stay connected to assigned plans to help the team stay focused on the goals of the campaign and participate in conversations regarding optimization opportunities
  • Create and manage against robust and realistic timelines and task lists
  • Be on top of the upcoming media campaigns and know the status of timing, key milestones, deliverables, resources, etc. at all times.
  • Ensure all documentation and deliverables are of the highest possible standard

Key Skills

  • Experience with media ad trafficking
  • Well-versed in the Microsoft Office suite including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize responsibilities
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, but also can work well in a team
  • Ability to proactively organize daily tasks and make your own to-do list
  • Keen problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Experience with project management tools for documentation and tracking
  • Familiarity with marketing concepts and technology
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm and stable under pressure
  • General understanding of project management principles (agile, iterative, waterfall)


    • Minimum 2+ years in media
    • Agency experience is required
    • Experience trafficking media buys
    • Experience managing multiple campaign calendars at once
    • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
    • Proven ability to work across multiple brands, clients or industries simultaneously
    • Proven self-starter, yet also possesses the ability to work well in a collaborative environment
