The dinosaur as product, not web presence

Born in (you guessed it) Manhattan, the Manhattan Toy Company moved to Minneapolis in 1991. While the quality of toys had remained exceptional throughout the years (including their best-selling stuffed dinosaur), their business model was threatening to become extinct.

Traditionally sold through specialty retailers, The Manhattan Toy Company wanted to shift their business to an e-commerce solution. It was clear that a change was needed to make it easier for their customers to buy products directly from them, as well as through their Amazon partnership.

Smiles promised, smiles delivered

Working with the Manhattan Toy Company’s creative team, Ciceron took on a tactical rebuild of their existing website using the Shopify platform. Integration needs included full unification of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Open Graph.

The Manhattan Toy team was then provided with complete control over managing their new fully responsive website, online store, and email marketing platform. A digital strategy was developed to go along with it, which put on emphasis on:
